Had a very bad experience at Calvert Animal Hospital tonight. We have been going to this vet for years with all our pets and tonight with Dr Harrison was terrible. We were told that our dog had two types of tick diseases and that last year she tested positive for limes. We were astonished to hear this as we were never told she had limes. When we asked Dr Harrison why we were not notified of this her response was she did not know she was not there last year. you would think that you would at the very least receive an apology but that did not happen nor could she explain why we were not told all she could come up with is we can test her for $55.00. I will not be going back to this vet again very disappointed
If you enjoy sitting in a waiting room 30 minutes after a your appointment time, this is the place for you! I guess I'm lucky though, my wife waited almost an hour. I think this is my last time coming here, there are plenty of options in the area.
The best, reasonably priced vet within Calvert County. Dr. Stotler and Dr. Noyes are compassionate, kind, helpful and truly care about your pets. Highly recommend!!!

I have been using Calvert for years, many referrals sent there way...... BUT NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! Dr. Stoller never informed me properly that the procedure was not going to work (like he says now he knew it wouldnt) and allowed me to waste my money. I am in a financial hardship and explained that to him. Told him I didn't want to waste money if he didn't feel it would work and rather put the 150 towards the 700 surgery. I hadn't even left the office and my dogs ear is in the same shape as when i brought her except now it's bleeding everywhere and in out 150. DO NOT USE THEM! THIS PLACE IS GOING DOWN HILL QUICK!!!!
